Development: Vinea Golf and Country Club
Location: Ritzing, Burgenland, Austria. The development is approximately 1 hour drive from both Vienna and Bratislava on a 180 hectare site in an area of outstanding natural beauty with a rich cultural heritage that will attract high-end tourism.
Project Overview: On completion the development will include extensive golf, sports, hotel/spa and residential amenities. An existing, state-of-the art sports centre includes a 2,500 capacity stadium with corporate entertainment facilities, two all-weather training pitches, nine-pin bowling, indoor squash, tennis badminton, sauna/steam room, leisure facilities, bar and restaurant. A new 18-hole signature Greg Norman designed Golf Course and a Golf Academy designed to be the centre of excellence in Austria and a new equestrian centre will complete the sports facilities. A 120-bed five star hotel that will be managed by an internationally-renowned operator and up to 500 residential units of mixed style and configuration, will also be developed.
Project Timeline: Phase 1 planning permission granted for: 18-hole championship golf course, a 25 acre golf academy, 120-bed 5 star hotel, 400-500 residential units and an equestrian centre. There is further scope to develop additional residential units on completion of Phase 1. Due for completion in 2013.

Current Status: International Sports Complex is completed. Planning permission is granted for phase 1. Existing Facilities include 2000 seater stadium,Corporate conferencing & viewing boxes, 9/10 pin bowling alley, Catering facility & restaurant for 200 people, In-door and Out-door, all weather multi-purpose facilities including full size playing pitches, Gym, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Squash Court, Badminton, Tennis Courts, Fully licensed bars, Accessibility to Equestrian facility, Woodland walks & horse riding, Access to Sommerbaum Water Park 1km.
